is the sensor mirror suppose to be the new smith "HI Blue" lens?
Sensor mirror is the new lens for powder days, flat light and all the days when the sun dont shine. I used them up at the Blackcomb glacier this summer in sunny weather and they were fine for that too.
they work in 90% of all conditions.

What kind of skis should I buy? I'll be skiing in the NE, making a few trips west. I'm a strong intermediate who likes to make lots of parallel turns and occasionally ventures into the trees.Originally Posted by BakerBoy

No, you should believe 100% what anybody says about Smith goggles when it's positive.Originally Posted by snwbdrhoon

Alta is the center of the universe.
The sun sets in the east. I've seen it.
You look like I need a drink.
The east also has the best skiing. No, really, it does.
This is true. I've seen it!Originally Posted by BakerBoy

90% of these lenses are ideal at 5% of the ski resorts under 50% of winter type conditions
Mom! The meatloaf! FUCK!.
Seeing this and based on the fact that my Oakleys worked well in everything really sunny, bright weather, I must need to buy Spatulas.Originally Posted by hucksquaw

That said I got a couple months skiing with some sensor mirrors last season. I'd say they are very good for most light conditions. They are better than a dark mirrored lens in flat light, and they are better than a rose/yellow/HI/etc lens in full sun. And you don't have to change the lenses. They are still a compromise though...nothing is perfect. When it's really really flat light out, I'd rather have a true low-light lens. In full sun I'm OK with the sensor mirrors...but a dedicated full-sun mirrored lens would let less light through.
Yeah, but can we make him send us a proform for spamming us? That's the reel question.![]()
