WHat's the power like on hills in this thing? Wife wants one. She currently drives a Sub w/3.6R and doesn't want to sacrifice too much power because she likes to drive real fast on her commute over mountain passes.

Surprisingly peppy in sport mode. Not going to be confused with a sports car by any means, but it’s better than my old outback

How much of a tin can is it? My knock on the older rav4s (and all Subarus) is that they have a lot of road + wind noise.

I’d call it good not great. Similar to my old outback. Not nearly as bad as my old Impreza where you couldn’t even hear a podcast
