But what he’s doing to the poor horse is pretty horrific…

    2019/2020 Midwest Stoke Thread

I don’t feel bad anymore for pussing out on GSinister the other day, right after I texted him his boss called and made him go in to work on his day off.

Today I went to Christie Mountain for $30 Friday. My fifth day back on skis. Skied very strong, got my carve on. Even did multiple laps on what they claim are black diamonds. Easily skied twice as many runs, but just like last week, when I am done it happens suddenly. All of a sudden I just have no strength and my knee does not respond. That’s when it’s time to quit.

I am convinced that I am going to come out of this a better skier. The PT chicks have me on a solid fitness plan that addresses things I have long struggled with, balance, core strength, hips, flexibility. It has been a good experience and I look forward to the future.

It’s crazy how little snow we have received around the metro this season. This made Sat’s [emoji640]” at Welch feel much deeper than it was (# like I won the lottery). No substitute for fresh snow.

Harry- should we do a roll call for Lutsen summit?

    Free coffee!

I'm in for senior's day at Trollhaugen on Wednesday. I should have a couple of nonmag people with me as well. Anybody else?

I see the dates, but no one other than Harry (+ now you) have replied that they are attending.&nbsp; All other replies contain regrets that they cannot make it- just gauging commitment</p>

Good times up at Chestnut today. Not quite enough snow early to call it a pow day but the snow kept coming all day. Enough snow to call it a snow day. Daughter&#39;s school was shut down for the storm, so we skied last night and today.

Ran into a telemarketing from Hudson named Dieter? I asked if he knew gsinister and he did, apparently Harry and Baconmecrazy as well. The ski community is a small world. He was down here on an Indypass tour and skiing bell to bell. We probably spun 20 laps before I had to split off.

The only time I skied with Deiter, he was rocking tele skis at Trollhaugen. I couldn&#39;t believe how fast he was on those things!

Yeah, dude rips! He was happy that Chestnut is long and steep enough to work his quads. Looking at the cams it is still snowing so I am sure he is having a great day.

If you don’t ski with the Midwest Maggots this year, you will be one year older when you do.

^^ Optical illusion caused by the Flow State you achieve while hot lapping a 280 vertical foot hill like Trollhaugen. Time seems to stand still. Deiter gets it.

Next Wednesday, Feb 26, ima gaper is going to join GSinister and I for senior citizen day a Trollhaugen. ima gaper is not old as dirt like GSinister and I, so he won’t get free coffee like we do.

I’m not sure where exactly ima gaper lives, but I think his route to Trollhaugen goes right past your house, skuff. You should hop in and join us.

I have a long drive from Peoria Il. My plan is to drive to some place between madison and black river falls on Tuesday night depending on how early I get away and when I get too
    tired to keep driving.

Skuff not sure where you call home but if your some where in that vicinity and want to catch a ride your welcome to hop in. Send me a message and we can work out the details. This offer stands for anyone along my route that wants to ski senior day at troll.
