Torres Foie Gras chips from Spain. Fancy market here had them and I’d give them 7-8 out of 10. The taste was more subtle than I expected but I couldn’t eat more than a snack bag size in one sitting.

They also had an Iberico Ham flavor I plan on taste testing next.

I'm sure all those post-yoga snacks are good and worth a try but I'd rather just have a bag of Doritos. Lately I've been feeling fancy though and can't stop eating Chili Lime Sunchips.

The very best pickled ginger upon which I have ever feasted.

The ginger people finally did something good.

Apparently none of my friends that grew up in Wyoming knew what Combos were until yesterday, when I broke out a bag of pepperoni pizza Combos as a pocket snack on the slopes.

You try your first one and you're like "hmmm, interesting." About 5 Combos in you're like "these are actually pretty gross" but you keep eating. 50 Combos later you know that past you was correct. But you regret nothing.

Replace "Combos" with Goldfish, Cheezits, puffed Cheetohs, the carmel-encrusted extrusion-boiled corn things...

Wait, is this just the basis of all snack foods?

What's New on The Snackscape, Cretins?

Snacks you take for granted that I can't get in JP.

    Cool Ranch Doritos
    Ranch dressing, Thousand Island
    Fritos
    Worthers
Strawberry Bon Bon's (from your mom's christmas candy bowl.)
Girl Scout Cookies. (Thin Mints and Tagalongs)
    Cherry Coke, Mountain Dew
Taco Bell. There, I said it.
    Starburst
    Jolly Ranchers
    Kraft Macaroni and Cheese
    Albertson's Dutch Crust French Bread
Italian Sausage (although I've learned to make it.)
    Egg Noodles, like from stroganoff.
Chow Mein dried noodles (my mom actually sent me some.. ha) No, they're not chinese, they're purely American.
    Chips A' Hoy cookies.
    Triscuits.
Milk in a hard plastic container hits differently than milk in a cardboard one.
    Dairy Queen— Peanut Buster Parfaits.
Not a snack, but a huge one-- Breakfast Diners and Bagel shops. Imagine your wife ripped those out of your life.

Costco arrived in town and returned things like sesame seed hamburger buns, 12 grain bread, breakfast sausage, English muffins.

Count your blessings, homies. You can’t get rid of the cravings of your cultural upbringing.

Taco Bell tastes great. The problem is the heartburn and gas for the next [emoji637][emoji[emoji6[emoji640][emoji638]][emoji640][emoji6[emoji640][emoji638]]] hours…
