    Lol

My garage is full of old man money. I just put limits on myself. No suspension tuning, no coaches, no anodized colors, and no BME, EWS or national races. I can't deal with Type A racers in those quantities. Lord knows I've tried.

If someone wants the deal of the century and actually buys my bike the Push will be going with it. Makes more sense that way.

I got super lucky last year and found the Push used on PB already setup for the same exact bike and the guy weighed the same.

I am realizing now that it does make more sense to just buy a new one. Fox DPX2 Performance on my new bike just isn't cutting it.

Just send your DPX2 to Diaz Suspension Design and let them do their thing. It will feel and work better than a FloatX2

I went from an X2 to EXT to this DPX2, and though I liked the EXT, I’m really digging the DSD tuned DPX2 the most.
They nail the air spring, internally tune the HSR so you are just adjusting LSR for poppiness and ride feel. I use the climb switch but otherwise have compression full open.

To me, the big advantage of the 11-6 for enduro racing is the dual independent compression valves. Rather than just a ride/climb choice.
For example, you can set one for flatter pedally stages and one for super chunk.

First time owner of a dropper post. Its a Bike Yoke Revive.

Do they typically have a little wiggle side to side? If I place my palm on the top of the seat I can turn the seat back and forth a about a 1/16”

Yeah, most droppers do that a little. You'll never notice on the bike, and it's fine.

Not the revive. Have someone check it. Those droppers should be rock solid.

My wife’s brand new bikeyoke has play like that - supposedly 100% normal, and does not bother her.

OTOH my Thomson has exactly zero play. Which is nice, as that type of shit drives me batshit.

PNW dropper popped a cartridge. Anyone know if the fluid will damage carbon? I’ll report back on warranty. I own four of them, so I hope it is quick and smooth. He has a race next week so timing is bad. I guess I’ll pull mine and put it on his bike. I rode without a dropper for twenty years, so I guess it’ Old School time!

How many miles/use on the PNW? Curious bc I’ve got a Bachelor I’ve been riding since May. Hoping it would last a couple seasons before needing any work.

This bike is probably 18 months and around 2 K miles. He tends to ride his enduro a lot more and this only on race weeks. I have four of their droppers and none of them have given me any problems. All of them are within the 3-yr warranty however.

My Revive has had a tiny bit of rotation play since new (maybe .25deg). It never bothers me on the bike.

I've also never had to do the reset thing, though it's nice to have the ability. It seems like a great post.

Yeah, my Revive has a tiny bit of side to side play in the stand, but I've never noticed it riding. I think I've had to use the reset ability 2 or 3 times, after months of sloppy riding, or after accidentally pulling up on the post while it's collapsed.

Gotcha. Thanks for the info. Looks like I’ll get at least another season out of my Bachelor before a rebuild.

I wouldn't deal with the whole torque cap thing.
So I ordered those spacers, and they didn't fit. E thirteen support finally answered my query- I needed the full Boost kit https://www.ethirteen.com/products/100-to-110-adapter

But now I know a lot more about the e thirteen hubs and spacers....

Here’s a question for you oval ring experts - anyone noticed or heard of premature clutch wear on the derailleur from the ring?

I’d guess not, because even at a super hot cadence you aren’t cycling the clutch at nearly the same order of magnitude of frequency or magnitude of force impulse as descending a high chain growth ear end - but it did look funny seeing the derailleur wobble like that when spinning my cranks on the stand ...

I have an EXT Storia on order to replace my DPX2. Can you explain why you prefer the DPX?? I'm v curious.

Yea, it's fine. I had x01 11 speed with oval rings on a smuggler for probably 3k miles, sold it to my dad awhile ago, clutch is still happy. Maybe different story with new shimano 12 speed, but those aren't doing too well with round rings either...

I really enjoy the Rallon. I got the 2020 linkage last fall and installed an EXT Storia coil shock. It’s been a great bike. I used it as an all around trail bike with some fancy plastic wheels, but also throw on the stock DT 1900 wheel set with CushCore and stout tires for smashy bike park/shuttle days.
