    My kinda goil:
    (1) Lisa G. Berzins, a nationally known psychologist and expert on eating disorders, was arrested in a West Hartford, Conn., convenience store in July after, according to police, passing out from inhaling the aerosol from three cans of whipped cream.

    Gubbermint effluency:
    (2) The Virginia Employment Agency, which handles unemployment compensation, announced layoffs of 400 employees in June for lack of work because unemployment is so low in the state.

    Eric A. Jong?
    (3) Todd Christian, 26, who flies 40 feet through the air as "Todd the Human Cannonball" for Britain's Cottle and Austin Circus, was fired in June because he refused a training assignment in Brazil, protesting that he doesn't like long airplane flights.

    Thumbs up

I made a similar decision about 10 years ago, and even though it took a while before I could sleep through the night without freaking out over what I'd just done, it turned out to be the best decision I could have made for me and my family, at the time. After nearly a decade of flying solo, however, I'm considering reentering the workaday world. Life flows and ya gotta flow with it.

I'm guessing that like me, you're very cautious when it comes to decisions regarding the future of your family. So... even though it's freaky, you already know it's the right decision. Congrats on having the cojones to act on it.
    You're gonna love it!!

Good luck, Buster! I know you'll kill it out there.

And I'm totally feeling you on the life changes bit. I'm on week three of my new adventure. So far there have been lots of really nice surprises. Here's hoping the same will be true for you.

I just gave notice. They'll shut down my ports soon, read me some threatening copy and march me out of the building.

I just looked at some pictures of my kids and got dewy. I'm such a chickenshit.

    See ya later.

    Nice move!
