    Hoji free and alpine bindings

    Hi Gang!
Looking at new ski boots. The Scott Superglide carbon is very comfortable for a touring boot. As is the Hoji free for a possible quiver killer boot.

Question: can the Hoji Free work w alpine bindings such as the jester or others?

    Thanks
    Me

Yep. ISO 9523 sole, so it'll work in alpine bindings that are compatible with that norm - Warden MNC, Jester ID etc.

If it's a Jester (or any other Marker Royal Family binding) it must say "ID" on it. If it's a Salomon/Atomic/Armada binding, it must say "MNC," and if it's a Tyrolia it must say "AT." Rossi/Look don't have an ISO 9523 compatible alpine binding.

PS Combinations that are supposed to work sometimes have issues, and manufacturers don't test for every combination of boot/binding, they usually test their own. No one I know has tried a Hoji Free in a Jester ID yet.

Thanks guys! Is there a modification to make the Jester an ‘ID’? I am not near my bindings but need to check.

My other is a tyrolia AT so dialed there!

No, the toe design is different (AFD slides in opposite direction). If you could find ID toes only, the mount pattern is the same.
