Dr Oz is only ok imo. He’s done a fine job, but I don’t think his personality fits the role as much. I thought pretty much the same about Katie Couric too though. fine job but just not the right trivia nerd host.
It’s interesting that they brought all these random hosts on to widen the audience but I read that the viewership was down.
altho I think the boycott Dr Oz people were a bit over the top

If Dr. Oz wasn't on TV he'd be operating on poor schmuck's heart.

Given that he's not a professional TV host he did ok. Certainly better than Alex Trebek would have done at QB. Gotta love that one final jeopardy answer.

Definitely a monotonic and pretty weak job in my opinion. The worst so far of all the guest hosts. Maybe as the days go by he will get a bit more relaxed but even worst than Dr. Oz. Only 2 moments that were not bad, his comment at the start about doing celebrity Jeopardy and having Alex as the host, and then the end when the final Jeopardy comment about the Field Goal Kick....

He seemed a little stiff and monotone during the intro and interviews, but I thought he did a good job during game play. He kept things moving and read the clues fluidly.

There was one answer no one got and he gave the answer and said, "I didn't know that". Alex's gift was giving the impression that he personally knew all the answers. It's refreshing to see it done differently because no one is going to do Alex as well as Alex.

that chick blew it tonight. could've thrown down hard and her last DD would've been enough to snuff the champ. Poor strategy, IMHO. she could've won

Anderson Cooper has been good. I doubt he's interested in the permanent job, though.

Not really into game shows, but I watched AD and Aaron Rodgers do Jeopardy. Who’s Dr, Oz?
Anyway, for a non fan I liked Aaron a lot.

Why don’t they just end the show after this season is over??? Nobody is going to replace Alex. God forbid Joe Buck gets the job. Enough is enough!

Maybe they could get Doc Emrick out of retirement to host Jeopardy.

I noticed one thing about every one of the guest hosts--there's often a slight delay between the contestant giving the question and the host telling them right or wrong. Maybe the producers told them--whatever you do, don't tell them they got it right if it was wrong or visa verse. If you do you're fired on the spot.

Apparently the returning champ tonight flashed a three percenter hand gesture during his intro. I can't believe they let that on the air. Glad that fuck went down tonight.

Apparently he flashed 1 finger on the show after his first win, 2 fingers after his second.
Glad to see him gone though. He annoyed me.

Yes, he did, but in my estimation it was all so he could flash the three-percenter symbol if he made it to three wins. I'm not willing to give him the benefit of the doubt here. I think it was pretty blatant and I can't believe the show didn't catch it. They've made some pretty egregious decision lately with allowing Mehmet Oz to host and now letting this through.

Do you know the guy an alt right nutjob? I didn't see the gesture, but maybe you are reading too much into it?

It's not just me. I didn't even see him make the gesture, but Jeopardy related social media is lighting up about it. Based on what I've read it seems pretty implausible that he just happened to flash that sign without knowing the implications.
