When two rope teams come together traveling in opposite directions, which team has the right of way? The uphill traveling team or the downhill traveling team? Is this the same for individual climbers as well?

Kyle,
I don't know the answer to your question, but I'm sure someone on the board does.
Try asking your question in a different forum. Maybe ski/snowboard.
I think if both roped teams are there for the same TGR summit, the first person to produce change for a nickel should have the right of way.
Beg to differ... the group with a leader sporting the LS 9000 clearly has honors.
Damn, we're in a tight spot!
at least the JONG is trying to post in the correct forum... Summits are where we get together for this board anyway ski/ snowboard is for actully climbing to summits
Its not that I suck at spelling, its that I just don't care
Uphill, always.

the climber who, upon call of 1,2,3 from the second, drawes the biggest cam out. he who wins has the right of way.if they dont have cams, it could be done with nuts, slings, the sharpest axe, the fattest skis?the hottest seccond?? well in the uk, we just let the biggest guy get there own way....
woah AKMP just JONGed someone... far out!

Why is this still going????
True - but unless I miss the mark, I believe it was a benevolent JONG -= as in, Summits ~ Climbing... sorta giving the guy the benefit of the doubt... a kinder, gentler JONGing if you will.Originally Posted by Summit

In Europe you just keep walking until you bash UIAGM pins. Then smoke cigarettes.

Definitely well done. Much better than the Dougal Haston biography. Now working through the matched pair of Tilman bios.Originally Posted by edg
