    A little bit of carnage

I ran safety for my rafting buddies the other day on Alberton Gorge (just outside Missoula). The following are some good shots. I sat in the eddy next to this when the shit was going down. He was down under the froth for 5 seconds and popped up about 75 feet down river. Helluva a ride.

    Freak-
I've been wanting to get into whitewater kayaking. Think theres a way you can help me out this summer?
If I tell you the Stepping Up is the guide to bridger ever... does that move me up? Because it is a pretty sweet read.

    Tell more.

You been avoiding that place like the plague or what? Myself, I still haven't got up the nerve to get in my boat this year. I dunno, there is just something about it that makes me think my knee won't like it. Do I need a tampon or what?

Two of my good friends have swam there so far...one twice. I won't name any names, except for Mike B. and "Juice" S.

    Suckas.

I've been there quite a bit. It's $$$$ right now.

I'll be there July 21st for some more ducky carnage.
I usually like to put on a show for the spectators on the rocks and get munched by going in switch with my paddle in the air or some other silliness.

Brennan's was the best level I have seen yesterday. Of course, lots of people know its good too, thus very busy.

Not too hard to have it to yourself, though.

Unless you have one of those pesky job things.

Is that little orange thing near his face a whistle? If so, then who needs a helmet and why isn't he blowing it in the last pic!
Second guess is a bright floating church key...

    Another good Al G. photo:

My Dad almost flipping the raft...my sister is in the back, she fell out but never let go and was able to climb back in.
