    Bent fork?

I just received a message from the bike shop that my fork is slightly bent The shop isn't open but I'm sitting here at work freaking out. Should I expect to hear that I need a new fork tomorrow? When I took it in it didn't have any obvious signs of damage. I'm so pissed, I've broke something every time I do lift served. I dont have a DH bike but it's a f###ing mtn. bike, how can everything be so fragile?

If it were burly and unbreakable, you'd bitch about how heavy it was. If it were super burly and super light, you'd bitch about how expensive it was.

    It's all a compromise.

    How'd you bend your fork?

small bend in the legs, dont worry about it untill you can feel the handling or steering change. probably the lowers are bent from hitting shit hard or from an angle. it happens,

    also what phUnk said

I was feeling confident hitting a ladder section at keystone as a tabletop and wanted to try styling it out (what can I say, I'm the same way on skis). I was going for a turndown or something, but instead my bike went kind of sideways and didn't want to straighten out. My tire and handlebars, and to some extent my face took most of the impact. I was lucky to avoid injury I guess. I expected to break something, but why did it have to be the most expensive part of my bike (save the actual frame)?

If it is any consolation I think Boobookitty is selling a DJ3 for cheap.

Maybe you have a double crown though.
Recently overheard: "Hey Ralph, what were you drinking that time that you set your face on fire?"
