Sounds tempting so I just checked the drive time from Helena to Shames. A mere 22 hours, are you kidding me? You guys are fucking lucky.

I am a super senior (age 75), so a Shames lift ticket for me is $4.76. If I do make it to Shames it really won't help the Shames bottom line very much. However, 2 long days of traveling from Sun Peaks to get there probably means it won't happen for me.
Yep. And you are not the market we're shooting for in joining the Indy pass.
Yeahman, yeah.

Crazy low elevation. Is rain a problem?
I love this and have Indy just because it works great with our little jr race circuit so I pay it off and can pick off some new ski areas along the way.
Eaglecrest to Shames is a cool 22 hour drive! Wish I was retired, it would be fun to pair those neighbors if you can call that a neighborhood? Do those ferries run in the winter for the southern loop? That looks pretty amazing on its own
My stepson skied Eaglecrest last winter for a comp. It was touch and go getting the airplane into Juneau with all the snow, but after a day or two delay, they made it. Had a blast. I didn't think he was going to get on the airplane home.

Indy time bump. At pomerelle now. Absolutely whiteout nuking.
After the beaver party, commencing and Indy circuit. Storm days on tap for tbe next 4-7 days. Skiing bogus tomorrow, then up to McCall for a few days.
Get some.
What the hell ski pomerelle.
I got the Indy pass last season and skipped this season. Got a pre-sale email to get me back in the fold. $279 for the 2 day blacked out pass, $379 for the no blackout version.
Thinking of jumping back on this train byates style and roaming by van next year. Easy drives from Missoula for many of them.
^ yep. We are in what I call the cluster here. Can spend 3 weeks hitting MT UT WY ID.
Sitting in the lodge at pomerelle.now. cool ppl. Real. Gritty. Can't open lift wind. Sick flat AF pow on kid lift.
I just did a HooDoo-Mt Hood-White Pass loop. Planning a Washington-BC loop. April trip to Mission Ridge. Definitely renewing for next year.
No, made reservations in advance but last years RFI card was no good and had to buy a new one for $5. Second day with the new card and advance reservation went right to the lift. No stop at the ticket booth.
In tamarack lot, nuking. Will snow for 2-3 days. The next couple days here should be amazeballs.
I saw Powder Mountain confirmed that they will not be on the Indy pass next year. Anybody hear rumors of any others dropping off next season?
I'm EC / Mid-Atlantic based so those are the bulk of what we hit. The only ones dropping that may influence my decision to renew are the locals plus Jay/Bolton since we like to take a trip up north each season if we can.
Sounds like Indy is going to push to add a bunch. I just renewed. They guarantee that if they don't have 200 places by next year some kind of refund will be issued.
I'm saving my brundage days for Mon Tues, getting hit w 15 plus. Off to Blue Wood or snowbowl in the meantime

Update On Returning Resorts & New Additions
Good morning,
We have some news on returning and new resorts, but first, if you have renewed your pass, thank you for supporting an alternative skiing experience that remains humble, welcoming, and down to earth.
If you have not yet renewed, our no-bank, no-interest payment plan remains available and you have until this evening to renew at the lowest price. Tomorrow, all remaining inventory will go on sale to the public at our third-tier pricing (10 AM MST, March 8). We expect that inventory will sell out even faster than last year. If you need any help completing your purchase, email our Colorado based support team at info@indyskipass.com.
Last year, we renewed 104 out of 105 Alpine resorts, and by the time the season started, we were at a count of 185. This year, we are guaranteeing you at least 200 options on the pass, and here are some early details showing that we are well on our way:
A remarkable 97% of resorts have already been confirmed, and we are working through the remaining few. 100% of New England resorts are returning. Jay Peak, Waterville, Cannon, Pats Peak, Bolton Valley, Saddleback, Black Mountain, Catamount, Berkshire East, you name it. There are no big surprises at this point, and I think it was clear that Powder Mountain was going to move in another direction. We are still working with them on the final messaging and will backfill that area if needed.
Tomorrow, we will announce new alpine resorts in nearly every region alongside a brand new program that involves lots of powder with another form of uphill transportation...
We all have a role to play in keeping skiing independent, and we are grateful to have you by our side.
Curious who the western additions will be.
Find the Indy to be a great little pass, will renew
Renewed as well, hope to meet up with several of you next year.
i'm in the inland rockies cluster now. hollar if around bluewood, brundage, 49 etc.
I'm assuming Bear Valley gets added, as they're now owned by CMRC (and BVXC is already on the pass).
Curious to see if Sierra-at-Tahoe, Bogus, Timberline (all Powder Alliance) hills join. Seems like a lot of crossover between Indy and PA.
Also would love to see Mountain Capital Partners add their roster to Indy. Baldy as well.
