Curious as to when you did the traverse, as it looks like last spring. We had a super fast meltout, esp. in the N. Cascades which missed the bulk of the Feb. storms and might explain why the Park Glacier seemed esp. broken-up

Some things are classic not because they are the most aesthetic, the most difficult, the most (fill in adjective of your choice here) objective but because they have a great combination of all of those factors, not least of which a great history. The one and only joke I can remember reliably is one that I read on the Thunder chairlift (back when it was a double) message board at Jackson Hole first thing in the morning on a big powder day, a long, long time ago. The joke: What do you get when you cross a dyslexic an agnostic and an insomniac? Someone who lies awake at night wondering if there really is a dog.
