Same. Was very cool that she was as into it as I. Couldn't wait for the next drop. Good luck in all you do Cody and Bjarne!

I personally really enjoy the way Cody tackles mountains and out of all the skiers out there that have shared their mountain experiences, he’s gained my highest respect. The humility he brings to these adventures is what draws me to watch further. So since my parents are still doing the Christmas thing as asked me my wishes, a subscription it is.

I will normally find any way around subscriptions, but five bucks a month for this Cody's pure fucking cocaine seems pretty good to me. A lot easier to get behind this than a company selling a backcountry map that they licensed from another map company.

Was there at the SF show as well - awesome times. I especially liked Drew's segment on running and mental health. Heavy and powerful stuff.

Subscribed - seems like it'll be well worth $50/year. Excited!

After absorbing the new content, it does not appear on face value to have much of a paradigm shift. If Cody can find some synergies with his audience and everyone aligns on his 50+ value proposition, he should be able to create accretive viewing value and verticla driven monetary rewards for himself.

I’m only here to see people argue with Cody’s Rad Extreme Assessment Tiers, aka his CREAM rating for lines. I just made that up and I love it. I just can’t wait for someone to armchair these CREAM ratings

So I went into winter with very loose plans. When we got to AK, went and did the Northstar mission and then the next episode's mission. I was hooked again. Realized the benefits of being able to ski big, rad, challenging lines on my own accord, instead of devoting years of attention waiting for one dumb line to come in would allow for far more skiing, better conditions and a continuation of the dream.

Still working on those last 4 of the Fifty, but now the winter will be filled up with actual skiing, not just waiting for a line to come in.

And there in lies your search for the balance, and looking like you are moving in the right direct.

Bravo on that first episode of the 50+. A couple of good stories, a cool line, good skiing, and not bad snow.

Excited to see what adventures this freedom opens up for you. It’s clear that your approach to skiing (the joy, the humility, how you deal with adversity etc) resonates with people - even people who don’t even ski.

Thinking about the other monthly subscriptions I pay for (that end up providing a lot of mindless entertainment) this is gonna be more than worth it to live vicariously and be inspired through whatever you get up to.

Really enjoyed Northstar. Any appearances by the wifey in future episodes?

She's a much better skier than you!

My wife is from ANC (we are in Utah now) and I give her shit all the time how she's always cold, but you grew up in Alaska!! She appreciated Elyse being cold too.

I would love a video on the logstics of winter camping on a ski mission:
    - gear
    - things nice to have vs must have
    - how to dig for a proper tent spot
    - Tips and tricks (cold boots in the AM!)
    - sleeping pads/bags
    - water

Like a lot of this is obvious but I think there's probably some tricks and skills you've honed over the years that would be a good share to those wanting to get into it.

Now that we have the context of the utoob vid, this statement isn’t as arousing as HG implied. [emoji38]

Is Bjarne on to other things, or just not around for this one episode?
