    A "G" = One thousand dollars.

    Xover meant "one hundred dollars."

Does that clear it up for everyone now?

Did anyone really believe Snowbird raised thier pass price $1000 in one season?

I'm with the idiot and 13 on this one. I guess stewing in a bath of ignorance and stupidity is the Utahn way, but maybe it's just because I spent so much time in SLC this winter because it sucked up here.

Obviously this is all relative. I mean, on the one end are the coloradans, saying "I pay $200 for a ten resort season pass" on the other end, we've got that alta/bird regulars saying "I pay $1200 for my season pass, what are you bitchin about?" Just seems to me that a 20% jump is kind of a lot, especially since it's obviously for the new quad (debatable, but I don't think it really helped anything...) and the new cafeteria (who needs that shit?) I just wish Alta would stick to its guns and keep things the way they've always been. Instead they're doing the same things all the other resorts are. Soon we'll have $60 lift tickets there, just like everywhere else.

We're dicks! We're reckless, arrogant, stupid dicks. And the people that complain about Utards are pussies. And the Village Idiot is an asshole. Pussies don't like dicks, because pussies get fucked by dicks. But dicks also fuck assholes: assholes that just want to shit on everything. Pussies may think they can deal with assholes their way. But the only thing that can fuck an asshole is a dick, with some balls. The problem with dicks is: they fuck too much or fuck when it isn't appropriate - and it takes a pussy to show them that. But sometimes, pussies can be so full of shit that they become assholes themselves... because pussies are an inch and half away from ass holes. I don't know much about this crazy, crazy world, but I do know this: If you don't let us fuck this asshole, we're going to have our dicks and pussies all covered in shit!

Remember also, sand can infiltrate not only the vagina, but also the asshole. And it can really do a number on the balls too. But the dick wins every time.

Ya gotta wonder what they teach kids in kollege these days.

A G is short for a GRAND, although I never knew why until I looked it up with my mad interweb skills.

As with most questions of etymology, we don't know who first used the phrase. The best we can do, in most cases, is to find the earliest written usage, which is around 1915 for "grand." But the term was probably used in conversation for a while before it appeared in writing.
Within a few decades, the term was so popular that it was abbreviated to G or G-note. During WWII, the Yanks brought the term to the UK, where it came to mean £1,000.
By the late 1940s, a grand meant a thousand of almost anything, not just money.

A nickel or dime bag, well hell, that shit used to mean something a long time ago, but now a dime bag is a term only heroin and crank addicts use

Also, "key" is short for kilo, or kilogram. Just to clear that up.

Yeah, having a job and popping in to the board in the summer to post makes you a total dick.

    Alta Silver Card-UTAH RESIDENTS ONLY

Receive a $20 discount on an adult all area day pass each time the card is presented. The card is transferable, but can only be used once per day. Residents must present a Utah Drivers license to be issued a card. Whoever uses the card on any given day must also show a Utah drivers license. Limited to one card per resident. Potentially problematic but I'll figure a way around it.

Can you get a UT state ID without relinquishing your DL from the other state?
They can't insist you be able to drive - some folks dont' and a state ID should be good enough.

yes and no. you can tell them that you lost your current out of state dl but your old dl will no longer be valid even if you still have it. try getting a state id and see how long you can pass that off.

Huh? Twice the vertical of what, the Bird? No, not even a "G" more vert.
You must mean twice the vert of Alta. Now that'd be correct.

...and you probably have much greater income than a college student. If I had to pay 900 for just the regular adult pass I probably wouldn't be able to ski there.
