I usually ski a 190 bibby inbounds, but when I tried my 184 WC108 tours with MTNs in the resort I felt very unstable - reiterates my need to find someone who has 190s and wants 184s. If anyones does, let me know!
Weird. I loved my 108t inbounds, same binders. It was soft though. I did ski them pretty committed; pressuring the cuffs hard initiating turns. I felt they were precise; lots of feedback on the hard variable tho.

I've picked up a set of WCT108 in 190 and Shifts arriving in Jhole when I do tomorrow. Mounting with shifts, will share some impressions after I get a few days in.
if that happens then just trim the top inside platic bit on the brake arm - aka the little stud that probably is what is catching on the ski before the brakes make it down and out - and/or try to bend them a tiny bit. I run a pair of 100mm brakes on some 112mm skis without issue, so at 108mm there shouldn't be much of an issue to have them perform flawlessly each and every time.
Long shot I know but if anyone has a pair of this years commander 108s their not getting along with I would be interested.

Are Meridian Tours the same rocker profile as normal Meridians? Any issues with grip on firm skintracks? What about edge grip on ice?
Took the reg 108 190 shifts out today. Easy to throw around. Real fun. Didn’t notice any big difference between these and the 184 tours apart from feedback from hard snow!! Only a few harmony laps tho....

I thought the WC 108 held a decent edge on groomers but as pointed out anything ice was quite an interesting experience. I did not like the feel at all on ice or refrozen groomers (it rained the night before then froze over) but this ski is not made for this type of conditions. Overall an excellent ski everything skis, might be my daily driver except when i know its going to be a hardpack type of day.
Agreed 100% with this. The WC108 has such deep rocker lines that if things are truly firm, there's not a ton of edge on the snow and it gets kinda squirrely. Even on soft-ish groomers, I don't think the WC108 rises above "fine." It doesn't load up and trench a turn like a more traditional ski. But, of course, its shape makes it way more fun than a traditional ski on cut up off groomed stuff, which is really where that ski is at home.
Getting ready to order wildcat 108s and am debating between try 184 and 190...looks like straight pull length on them is 2-3 cm shorter than stated. I also have pbj 188 so want something similar length...thoughts?
Most brand do not measure skis based on a straight tape pull.
Most brands, like Moment, list the length of the ski based on the length of the base material while flat on the edge table during manufacturing.
Rocker lines and tip rise effect what the straight tape outcome will be.
Effective edge is a much better metric to look at to gauge how long a ski will "feel".
If you have 188 PBJ's get a 190 Wildcat 108.
That what way I was leaning, just want make sure it’s still quick enough for tight spaces.
Yeah the WC108 absolutely slays it on chopped up snow or anything but bulletproof ice. I don't typically like moguls but man this ski makes it fun and did not mind going thru them at all. Tree skiing/tight spots on these are on point super easy to pivot.
Has anyone used the DPS phantom? looking to get some applied on my bibby and the rest of the quiver.
