Yep. The Ruby never had rocker on it ... just a wide shovel. I've had some deep days on them when they first came out and never had issues with tip dive.

I'm sitting on some completely unused Pomoca Free Pro Skins cut to Moment DW Tours 184 (112 width). I'm thinking $100+ shipping, we'll call it $110 for US customers. Available for pickup in SLC. This is for the entire kit in a nice box that Moment sent me. These usually sell for $200-250. If anyone is interested, just send me a Pm with email or phone # so we can connect even if the site goes down.I tried to add this to gear swap but can barely get that damn page to load. Hopefully this works.
Pulled the trigger on some WC 101s with 20% of code that was mailed out. Gotta get what you can before the tariffs kick in.
I know we're still a few months out but what is everyone hoping to see in the new releases? I'm really wanting something triple camber sub 100mm non center mounted.
I liked my Countach one oh fours at Squaw the last two days. Much fun to be had. Next up, is Mammoth.
Do we know when the factory sale/party day is? Trying to plan my Spring
The factory sale got me for four pairs of skis. Sierras and Bellas for wife along with a Strive 12. 102 and 92 Commander for me. 92s for Speedy McRacer, low tide crap. The 102s for tele-maybe. I will most likely put up her old Sierra 162s for sale on one these days.
With the Commander leaving, does anyone have information on what is/could be replacing it? Im dreaming of a skinnier Countach and think it could fill that spot in the lineup since the commander is riding off into the sunset. Do I need to start saving my spare lunch money for yet another pair of Moment skis?
96 Deathwish and 98 Countach has been confirmed
(allegedly)
Make either of those in a tour lay up and I’m gonna have to get another ski rack in the shop.Originally Posted by DoubleBogey;[emoji[emoji6[emoji640

So what you’re saying is, I need to save all my lunch money?
Pretty much
DW 96 is interesting, targeting east coast market. I'm curious if they'd add more relative mass in the layup vs the fatter versions so it doesn't get tossed around too much. The WC101 is fun, but it doesn't ski at all like it's larger brothers due to this IME.
Also wonder to what degree increased cost of titanal vs. lack of sales convinced them to retire Commander line.
Re the Commander, thats a good point and question. Id be curious to know why also, but the ski doesnt appeal to me personally. The reviews from people on this forum and others make me think that you have to be on it all the time to get it to come alive. Great if you want to hate the fuck the mountain all day but thats not really my style. The other skis in their lineup can accomplish this except for maybe a couple. I have the DW 104, CT 110. and WC 118 and never thought I needed more ski with any of those 3. Im really looking forward to the CT 98 in 190+. I thought I had the J Ski Masterblaster in this slot but it just skis too short. The CT 110 194 is just a great ski, rips in wide open spaces, super damp and stable, and yet I can chill with my 8 year old daughter no problem. Triple camber curiosity got the best with the DW 104 and I bought it before the CT 104 was released, but I wonder if I would like the CT 104 over the DW 104.
I have the Commander 108 and it's my daily driver. It had the rep it had to be skied hard, but I disagree with that. Is it "easy" to ski, no, but it's not hard either. If you like metal skis, they are no harder than anything else. I think their ad copy hyping the horsepower probably worked against them. They are unflappable.

I think it also depends on which commander. I've always heard the 108/102 are slightly more forgiving than the narrower version. I had the 98 and sold it to a friend. It was a ski you really just had to be on all the time to enjoy. It wasn't happy at slow speeds and if you weren't on your game it really didn't reward you and in some cases punished poor form.
my friend rocked it for a bit as he enjoys a slightly more directional ski. In the end he felt the same as I did that any time he got lazy or wasn't on it he really wasn't skiing well and the ski kind of kicked him in the ass. So he wanted to sell them. So I bought them back at a slight discount. My moment fleet is pretty damn big at this point, 9 total. And the 98 will get the least usage forsure, but I am happy having them back in the fleet as an option especially with the line being dropped.
i was very curious what the 92 skis like.

If I can sneak away to Mammoth here in the next couple weeks, I will have thoughts on the 92's. Honestly, I hope they will make big, round turns and launch you out of said turn. If that's not their jam, I'll adjust.

I was told no new touring skis for next year but confirmed on those 90x DW and CT.
