I have a pair of 194s, should be getting some more time on them by the end of the month. Will be sure to report back! Also have a buddy getting on some in AK, he may share his thoughts as well.

Hmm, must have been a weird circumstance. Even if a ski does not fall under warranty we also try track down a single.

Also, if you are John B. you sent an email 2 days ago and we have not responded yet. This does not mean your warranty claim has been denied.

Finally got them out today in great storm conditions. Mounted on the -2 line. Balanced flex not stout nor soft. Easy to ski and disappeared under my feet. Not a super pivoty surfer per se but does whatever you want with input. Was fun to drift and mob over chop in them, fine in the trees, had some manageable deflections as expected in funky snow as they're not heavy or very stiff.

UPDATE: After a few more resort days on these probably above and beyond Moment's intended purpose as a deep day, heli/cat trip ski, I can say they do make a really great resort pow/side country or sled ski for those wanting a balanced relatively light fall-line fat ski, and the rearward mount point may help address any perceived softness in the tip.

    Cheers

BUMP. 193 Bananas are SICK in chop. That full rocker and long radius is super smooth.

    - 2 would be pretty far back unless you really have a strong rearward preference, -1cm is the sweet spot for soft snow in my opinion

The 186 works for this for me too. My search for a resort powder ski is over. So happy with the nanners.

They're one of the most forward mounted skis I own, but I still really like the Bibby on the line. FWIW.

Agreed with this. -1 if you're skiing lots of untracked. On the line if you're mostly skiing inbounds tracks.

    Damn. Those Meridian Tours.

I have a DWT 190s and was thinking of getting a shorter touring ski. Never really skied full rocker though. How would those 187s ski?

For comparison I also have DW and WC 118 190s

I had them when the were pressed initially. I really liked them and I decided that I don't want a touring ski smaller than a 190DW. With my preference for larger skis being noted they are a great all around ski. They are super fun on carveable spring snow. They skid super easy and we're light and punched above their weight. The only place I didn't love was heavier deep snow and that is where I like one of my bigger rigs.

    Holy hell.

Got my DWT 184 out on the skin track for the first time today, they fuckin rip. All snow conditions for spring powder day from ice to dust on crust to hot pow and slush they just cruise. Aired off a cornice a couple times and they stomped the landing like a resort ski.

Totally worth the cost of admission to buy Moment.

Mounted my 12/13 bibby on the line and love it there. Took a few days to get used to the more forward mount location but I wouldn't move it. Floats in the deep and carves on the hardpack.

Same. Got mine out first time on sat in boot top pow and some sun affected. 184 surprisingly didnt feel short for me at 6ft, great platform for variable conditions. Was impressed. Bite of triple camber takes a bit to get used to, but the grip is there when you need it. Damp for the weight. Very interesting.

I only have a single day on mine (184cm) so far. Skied them with Jester 16 IDs on the line, although they now have Shifts.

I skied them on an unbelievably good day - pretty light snow for the PNW, about a foot and a half of the fresh stuff. They floated exactly as well as you'd expect a 124 width ski to float. I'd only skied Steeple 116s beforehand, so there's not much to compare to, but they felt stiffer throughout the length of the ski than Steeples. The C124 seemed to surf over choppy stuff and soft moguls just as well as Steeple 116s. I didn't really get a chance to play around with them too much on groomers, but they seemed to perform just fine holding an edge and carving along their natural radius on the one soft, smoothish groomer I skied down.

Two impossibly long years ago I acquired a Deathwish. It wasn’t a prominent presence in my life. Not at first. It just lingered in the periphery like a spectre: always there, always waiting. On the eve of last year, as the world began to careen into Malthusian insanity, the Deathwish grew a new head and I vowed to confront it, to understand it, and to ride it into the abyss. Since that moment my Deathwish has grown into an altogether pervasive, ever dominant force, and I carry it with me always. I don’t talk about it much, mostly just experience its raw power as it takes me down, down, forever down. Many of you understand this, for, like me, you are Acolytes of the Deathwish. More are on the way...

    Moment Skis Discussion

Just got the 2021 Wildcat in 190cm length. Holy smokes, what a great ski! Bought used, mounted +2 and still skis extremely well.

I’d like to remount the toes, to get my boot on “the line,” but it’s not a huge deal.

Skied dead easy right out of the gate, and one of my best Bridger Bowl days of the year. Stoked!

Kneel. Say the dark prayer. Make the wish.

The DW was never meant to be my favorite ski in a quiver of nine - but it is. Two of the nine are actually DWs now - DW + DWT. They are...hauntingly different.

And no i dont ever take pictures of my DW when i am by myself - i dont. So dont ask.

Fucking epic review. The feeling is mutual. Very much resonate with this.

Skied my "hand me down" Deathwish 190 today at mammoth in some steep chop, wind swept off-piste, and groomers. Was flying on them EVERYWHERE, so versatile.

Heed the words of Skier666 has been preaching for years. These skis are incredible
