    Q for Utah Freeriding Types

    I was watching this video:

    http://www.thepedalwrench.com/BackYardGoodTimes.wmv

And I'm wondering where the DJs and some of the other stunts are. I recognize the Empire stuff and the 2 gappers near hard road, but the framed jumps and some of the skinnies do not look familiar. Where are they, and when are we going?

Wow, that was great. I liked the shot with the pooch looking on. And those doubles - you would not want to come up short on those. Ouch.

Looks like the Vancouver section of Park City.

Torn down. Supposedly The Man (Deer Valley) found the trails and had to take them out for legal reasons. But, they approached the trail builders and asked them to help build some sanctioned stuff that's lift-serviced.

That stuff looks perfectly good. I can't believe people always have to think about the safety issues and tear shit like that out. How are we ever suppose to get any better?

it's still there, one way to access it is from the mid mountain trail between Deer Valley and PC. If you are riding from DV to PC there is an unmarked trail that splits down and right its near the John's 99, powerline trials and somewhere before the 420 trail. Hard for me to explain exactly how to get there, but if anyone is interested I can show them the way there...

edit: oh didn't read yer post very well but yeah those gap jumps seemed to be torn down.

    Nice Vid.
The helmet cam on the log rides and railroad tracks in the sky was sweet.

That is still there, we just rode it. What is gone is the trail with all the big framed gap jumps and flowy berms.
