    Print Screen Question

When I'm watching a video and want to take a Screenshot, I press the printscreen key. I then go to paste it into paint, and when I close out the video, the "video" in the pasted screenshot goes black. What is my jong ass doing wrong? Thanks in advance.

I don't know, but it works when I use microsoft photo editor, even after I shut down the video player. Maybe just try another picture editing program?

You can't use printscreen to capture video stills. Here's a blurb I stole from another forum as to why:

The problem with screen capturing videos is that it captures a DirectDraw surface instead of the picture. DirectDraw is the DirectX part which handles all the 2d stuff. DirectShow, which handles all the video/audio stuff (and Direct3D), outputs the image to the DirectDraw surface. When you press print screen, it captures the DirectDraw surface.

Hmmm, it seems like it worked for me.
