Taking a shot in the dark here: PDX mags

So, my girlfriend and I got our 30 day notice on our place a bit ago from our landlord. It is an attic apartment in an old house and doesn't meet fire code. We need to be out of it for about two months (hopefully not longer) and we really want to move back in cause our place is da bomb. So, we're looking to sublet for a couple months beginning Aug 1st or so. Preferably the place would be furnished (so we don't have to move a bunch of shit) and close-in NE/SE or a cool neighborhood (ie sellwood, fremont, etc).

If you know anyone in town with a vacant unit or have a friend looking for housesitters/sublettors, I'd thoroughly appreciate any leads. My GF and I are responsible and pretty quiet, and we do have a small cat that is clean and has never scratched or pee'd where she wasn't suppossed to.

I responded to that one already: the first possiblility I've seen in about a week. There's always conflicts (time frame, no pets, way to far away, etc).

Side rant: So, my landlord is being pretty helpful about all of this and referred us to a friend that had a cottage/carriage house behind his family's house that was vacant. It's only a few blocks away, actually really cool-aside from the four kids whose backyard would be our frontyard-and they seemed interested in possibly renting short term. They were going to explore the possibility of another more long-term tenent, which was quite understandable, and call back on this past wednesday. Never called and are mysteriously not returning my phone calls. Pretty fucking juvenile in my book. If they found someone else, decided against renting to us, need more time, whatever--at least fucking answer the phone and say so. Your fucking 40 and doing shit that middle schoolers do.
