Actually not all bad, I get to go see/hang out with my wife, which is cool. I'll just have to get down there another weekend, which probably isn't that bad a thing since every other weekend will be empty down there...

anyone wanna go back the next weekend?? Aug 12-14???

AG didn't get to ride last weekend but I rode both courses. According to the guys who work and build the trails up there, the Sports will be on timberline (better trail, more fun, less chance of year ending crashes), Expert/Pro on Wildflower. We all helped put Wildflower together a few years ago, there is one section that is pretty tough to go fast on and a crash will mean some consequences. I'll see both courses taped tomorrow and will try to post. We have noticed that they have the Beginners/Sports scheduled to go at the same time as Semi-pro qualifying on Sunday. Don't know how that could work as there has always been only one finish line. If you race Sport, you will love the course, all kinds of nice jumps, bermed turns, manmade stuff, etc...
Wildflower will be a lot more speed and tougher (supposedly).

SICK. I think it's a go for SD and DH. I'll go Sport. Oh, boy.

Phew! That was fun! Congrats to Boobookitty for kicking my a$$ in the DH and for winning the Super D, super fun DH course though and I'm very happy with my results. (Watch out next year kitty cat! ) And kudos to Ski Monkey for doing so well in the Super D with a completely f-ed (at work, can't use the real words, sigh) up drive train (he's a peddler for sure), and the Altagirls and so many others. Thanks to the Altagirls for arranging lodging, comfortable and convenient.

Great weekend, gotta love racing, and the whole atmosphere around it. With a few exceptions, it seems everyone was happy and chill and friendly and yadda yadda.
