Between skiing a few inches of crap and a solid swell, I'll take surf.
elporto.com:
"For Wednesday morning we are looking at a continued decrease in surf and swell. The Santa Monica buoy is still up, at 4.2 feet, as of Tuesday night so things still look promising for the AM. There should be plenty of fun surf left at the top West facing breaks for the dawn patrol. An early high tide might slow things down a bit so look for improvement later in the AM. Conditions will be clean with light offshore winds and although the shape has been a bit suspect (for the beach breaks) those who can read the ocean should still be able to pick off a few gems.
The big news is that our first macking swell of the season is in route. By Saturday we will be seeing a significant increase in size. Check back tomorrow for the 4day 4cast."
