Center Ice package on Direct TV, knob. Baseball is boring, basketball sucks, football is only on once a week and there is no doubt in my mind that you can't skate. Go play soccer fag. Hockey's back. GO FLYERS!!!!!!!

I think the first week or so of home games should be free! You know, get the fans back.

    Go Avs!

edit- I'm not worried about Televised games, I have a feeling CBC might pick up 1 or 2.

The pens are going all the way. (I'm not sure where they are going all the way to, but they will get there.)

Can't wait. I am going to have a party for opening day of the season, and it will be in my pants. You guys aren't invited to my pants party.

We can put on some pads.
Head up to the rink right up the street from my house.
    Drink ten beers.
And beat the crap out of eachother to celebrate the hockey season.

    It's all about the 10s.

The NHL needs to drop about 10 teams, expand the ice surface 10%, reduce the allowable size of goalie gear 10%, and call obstruction, grabbing, hooking and slashing about 10x better.

Hockey is such a beuatiful sport when played properly. The NHL product is all dump, clutch, grab, and hack.

So what you're saying is, you want them to play ol' time hockey, like Eddie Shorr.

The Flames/Canucks first round series was probably the best series I've seen played in recent memory, & the final was good too.

They just need to get rid of the Minnesota's of the world who have a bunch of plumbers who can't compete unless they play the trap.

Sooo true. The Devils and Red Wings were the two teams that brought the trap, left/right-wing lock to the NHL. The only difference was the Red Wings actually managed to score some goals on occasion, while the devils were just plain boring.
