For the sake of full disclosure, I got a DM from Sean. He claims that Pete was poaching the closed DH trail as well. Interesting, but in my mind, irrelevant. Sean was poaching as well, just in the WRONG DIRECTION.
On an ebike, which was not allowed.
He was playing the victim. It was sad.

I said in the previous post i have no idea of the trail or the actual situation, if it was blind turn or whatever. There was no previous suggestion that it was at a bike park dh trail on a dh trail or a link. You fuckwits ban them everywhere. How was i supposed to know it was a bike park. You didn’t say anything about not knowing what trails or the exact situation. ((Edit: Oops, you did say you didn’t know. My bad. However... )) Tamarack is a well known resort in Idaho and rideit said it was a DH trail. There have been a bunch of big DH races there and tons of videos and features on Pinkbike and Vital. I thought the context was pretty clear.
Pete is a friend of mine and many others here. He’s a great dude and he’s had his fair share of injuries and surgeries. It sucks to see him injured in a situation like this, by a guy on an ebike who should have known better. This is the ebike thread and this wreck is a worst case scenario of the collision concerns that have been discussed in this thread and it happens to involve some known people.

As far as my “condescending m.o” goes...this is the internet, more specifically TGR forums. We’re all a bunch of condescending assholes in our own way. You and I have a way of casting and setting hooks on each other. Particularly in this thread. Nothing personal. I’m just on blast tonight because I’m pissed about Pete.

You didn’t say anything about not knowing what trails or the exact situation. Tamarack is a well known resort in Idaho and rideit said it was a DH trail. There have been a bunch of big DH races there and tons of videos and features on Pinkbike and Vital. I thought the context was pretty clear.

If you could fkn read you would have seen i wasnt defending anyone. I said from the get go ebike dude was wrong to go up a no ebike trail. The very first sentence.When did i say i was the ebike martyr? I do love slamming arrogant hypocrites like yourself.Talk about self awareness. Your ego won't let you see anything but your interpretation of what i posted. I was curious of the circumstances of the collision though. Im hesitant to cast blame without the full story, and low and behold there was 2 sides to the story You chose to take my hesitation as me defending the ebiker. I think the olive branch i extended when i earlier said i was glad you enjoyed your ride was somehow nuanced in your pea brain to make you angry. Im actually surprised you didnt slink away, after the full story came out, and it was found both parties were in the wrong. Any reasonable person would be embarrassed after posting that petty O mic drop meme and at the very least soften their stance after the full story came out. No way a little man like yourself could apologise though so i figured you'd slink away. But even worse than that you look for a way to mistate what i posted. Pretty sad really. Head so far up your ass the butthurt distorts your vision/mission accomplished

Fuck you, i wasnt the one jumping to conclusions in that whole 2 page exchange. I felt bad for their bud the most because he was hurt but also felt bad for Sean because theyre both mtbers , we didnt have all the facts as was later shown. No one wants to be involved or a cause of a collision. Turns out they were both in the wrong. Meaning i was the lone poster in the right.
The rest came to virtue signal as the anti emtbers or were just piling on and sucking up to joetron and had only selectively read the previous posts to support some preexisting narrative they created, like you.

Nobody is sucking up to me, what would that possibly accomplish? I own a dingy, weird, little, mostly used bike shop in a corner of Colorado, barely post anything and don’t have much to offer besides cold beers and maybe some ride guidance if people visit.
You really like e-bikes...we get it. Some of us like e-commuters but aren’t gonna fight for e-mtb access or get boners about the newest e-mtb crap.
Thicken that skin and/or quit asking for a heckling. Look at your last post about that video, you’re just asking for some shit talking but nobody engaged...so maybe this will suffice.
