Ya im with ya, plus the wheels will explode and a few things will have to be warranteed but rumour has it theyve been quite good with the support on their eebs.
Theyre above my pay grade though. Im happy with my decoy as is and its the base. I could make it 46 or maybe under and even have it to 180/180. Thats the plan with a coil rear but itll be 48lbs. Its just over 50 now(medium). Interesting to see what Cedrics bike will weigh. Ive heard people say theyre going for a lighter weight eeb. A shit ton of great options now though. Trek has a really good price point at the base model and then the top of the line is light. Norco has a couple really nice bikes. Sight vlt is super dialed geo and spec and could be light with battery extender options. Kona is nice with nice geo but 50+ . A week on one and youll appreciate a bit of extra weight. Low 40's is where id want to be. Best of both worlds there. Theres something inspiring about not getting bucked in the loose. It is a little slower with the flick and the bunny hop but at 40ish its all good. Dont want to do without now though. Good to have both bikes. Im in no rush to add fancy shit on the decoy. Fine as is. Next purchase is an enduro frame(guerilla gravity, ripmo af, clash) or something like that. Really trying to make the gg happen

They collaborated with one of our very own well respected ski flick companies and did something funny. They're on the forefront of this new technology and have established that they're ready to support the product through inevitable growing pains hiccups.
Don't buy their shit if you don't want to. It worked for me because I was able to demo the bike and I get local dealer support. Something you'll almost never find from any other brand.

There is a lot to like about them. Great power, light and probably the quietest. Saw some back to back testing between the turbo levo and the sl. The sl with extender went pretty much as far as the turbo with a 700w battery. I think the xl sl base carbon model was 41 pounds(with tubes)and room to make it lighter. Medium would be under 37 quite easily

Am I bad for being out alone and roostin' and slidin' around a bit while I was e-braapin'? It's been freeze/thaw season here and it looks like between all the weekend traffic and a dirt bike or two this one really flowy trail is developing some killer berms. I kinda couldn't help myself and ran it on boost the whole trail, did it in 1/3 the time it usually takes and had a superslidey good time. e-braapin' FTMFW

That totally depends on your soil type, IMO.

E-mtb's are quasi legal at this spot. The lower reaches are a city park and they are allowed there, the upper 2/3 is questionable on any level because some is private and some is public. The public part is technically landlocked with private all around so it's not that we're not supposed to be there but rather we're not supposed to be able to get there. Bottom line is there shouldn't be a problem with e-mtb's at this spot.

That particular zone has more soil and less rocks than even 1/2 mile away in either direction and subsequently has different tree types too. The top layer is poorly compacted leaves and duff over deep loam. When it dries out it gets fluffy. The trail is 100% rake 'n ride and most of the corners are in just the right position to rip it and slide it so the top layer is forming its own berms after 7 or 8 years of steady use. Yesterday was just that right point of moist hero dirt underneath and drying top surface to be really slidey, a little bit of rain late today should make tomorrow morning perfect for hands off berm formation so I might have to go back and e-braap it again

Over 200km on my bafang kit and couldn't be happier. Once I got 15km of trail set with my braap sled and drag I've been able to maintain with the efatty and a small drag made out of a wooden toboggan and a grass rake with narrow tines screwed on the back. Had 5 CMS of fresh snow today, groomed the loop in 1.5 hrs.

So stoked. I just found out that the other spot closest to my house that I've been riding doesn't have a policy towards e-mtb's so as of now their official policy is we're good to go as long as we don't cause problems.
