Absolutely! That mod works for replacing old alpine AFDs with the new alpine AFDs. If you pop a GW AFD under an alpine pedestal, the distance from the top of the AFD to the underside of the toe wings is different than the stock GW toe piece. There's more about that somewhere in this thread.

Bumping this post, reached out to digski now that the forum is back in action. Still looking for a pair of cast pedestals OR a set of pivot heels, preferably 115mm brakes. Would also be interested in a 115mm brake/turntable assembly separately. Or just the 115mm arms.

I have skinny brakes (80mm?) available if anyone is interested.
