75* and RH=22% at 1600 PDT in central OR. Had to wait until 0930 for temps to break 60 for mtb ride. Low tonight = 40*

    I’ll take it

No real complaints, except that I have to cover the tomatoes tonight. High Desert living.

    Dropping into 30s tomorrow night.
Wish it would rain...trails getting pretty loose in corners, esp with all the touron pressure.

Watched the thermo on the western facing deck reach 112.8. Luckily we spent most of the afternoon floating on the river.

Having a june like the one that Western WA just had was a gift. Ive spent more than enough time locked away indoors, avoiding turning into a pool of what was my body, in the south for more than one life timw

Spent most the afternoon sitting in the Trout River in Montgomery, with my toes stuck in a cold spring that was coming up out of the river bottom, and trying not to move or even breath too much.

For once we here in EWA are not roasting. Have yet to break 100 or even 95 this year. Very pleasant now but I'm sure the heat is coming soon still... can't say I'm not enjoying being the cool spot for once.

LOL! We've got a high of 77 forecast for tomorrow, July 2. Wow.

    How about this heat?

Fuck it’s hot/humid in NYC. Feels/smells like a sauna that someone pissed in.

    How about this heat?

    NYC over last weekend.
    Heatwave here.

Golf courses are empty, so it’s great to be out in 90’s and playing golf in the evenings.

It really is the humidity. Dew point in the 70s all week. You do sort of get used to it. The most oppressive part is when you get a breeze that feels hotter than with no breeze.

Great swimming hole weather, though. These hot stretches are predictable, and are perfect for spending days in some cold water. Going camping on the river next week, and I'm hoping it stays warm and dry.
Remind me. We'll send him a red cap and a Speedo.

Wait it's hot outside in the summer? What will they think of next?

Holding endurance races in this kind of heat can be dangerous. Telling competitors to be careful can only do so much in preventing people from pushing too hard.

We have been lucky this year the weather is just about perfect

Low 50's before the sun comes up, high 80's low 90's y afternoon.
Just about as perfect as it gets

Another very pleasant day here in EWA. Doors and windows open, no need for the AC.

    How about this heat?

Business trip in NYC right now...just horrific out. This humidity is staggering for someone used to dry CO. And the whole city smells like urine and garbage.

That’s the summer in NYC for ya.
I don’t know why tourists come to NYC during the summer.
Spring or fall is the time.
