They usually open the pass both ways on the Friday morning of Memorial day weekend and the Basin Pomas on Saturday Morning. Maybe they need some extra time to dial in what they did not get open last year, who knows. Red Lodge is such a cool town, old west funky.

Im likely to go up for a day or two. Will be in the usual spot if so, for mags in the know. Byates, holla if ya decide to go and I shall plan acordingly. Anyone else? Mdot videos of road clearing seem to show a fair amount of snow...

    Beartooth Pass conditions?

Have something going on that Saturday, but would love to try and swing up there on Sunday to camp and then ski Monday. Wife will be gone so should be able to make it happen.

    Excellent ^^^^^.
Long range forecast looks good for opening the pass from Wyo side on Friday. Maybe a skiff overnight, then clear thru for a while.

Ive been juked many times with a day-before-storm closing it after they cleared it to open.

Yeah, hard to say. There is ALWAYS some mystery when ya go up there. I would be surprised that they wouldnt try for a saturday opening but who knows what the level of readiness is.
If EoB and BB and SJunky want to go up whether the lift is running or not, Id take a lap for a spring camping excursion. Dinner down in Red Lodge sounds good.
No more janky burgers at the red caboose or whatever that thing is called.

Route from Beartooth Pass to the U.P. goes within 2 miles of my island. Give your homeboy my digits.

    Beartooth Pass conditions?

Yep, and the weather looks kind of nasty up there this weekend.

    Soooo, pivot to 5/31 - 6/1?

Anyone else having trouble getting online tickets in their cart to purchase?

Hopefully that doesn’t mean they’re already sold out…

I cannot get the page to drop a date into the cart for purchase either.

Upside of that is the daily tickets will be plentiful at the ticket wagon.
Dont see any dates stating sold out.

I bailed on last weekend...work lasted into friday and mags making plans for future dates. Prolly gonna try and meet up with some of youts.

Sir Vic and ACH maybe soon?

I was just looking at their website and the cart is working now.

Daughter and I have a BWCA trip with a choice permit last week of June, but fire danger is high up there with no rain in the forecast and already a section smoldering. If shit blows up, and BB is somehow still open that late, we might pivot.

    Stoked and surprised they opened.
