Huh. Same thing happened in Boston and Worcester, but southern Maine/ New Hampshire (which for the geographically challenged is in between the two) got a few sprinkles and that's it.

WTF? Southern Maine & New Hampshire is between Boston and Worcester? I think you need to look at a map yourself.. Who's geographically challenged?

A storm can go in a straight line between B and W and completely pass both ME and NH to the south - hence, the strange anomaly you bring up.

OK. I didn't say directly between the two. Plus storm fronts aren't typically narrow enough for that to happen... and I'm just used to seeing summer storms head due east or northeast, but not due southeast or northwest.

Anomaly is the key word in your post.

edit: ahhhhh... I see the error in my posting. I meant Southern ME/NH is between (from a north south perspective) Boston/ Worcester and Montreal.

All the way down here in DC, we're picking up like 5" of rain last night/today, left over from Tropical Storm Cindy. Better hope this goes out to see and not up the coast.

Shamrock: don't despair - I think that photo is a few days old. I have no idea what the weather is right now, but I've heard that there have been some very hot stretches lately (read: women with very few clothes).

Sick and ashamed and happy (and, in short, go),

Gin couldn't care less about the weather cause the lazy wanker is in Scotland. The Jazz fest has been rocking these last few days. The weather has been hot and nice and it's been a literal flesh-fest in downtown Montreal . They're calling for some rain tonight but it should clear up by tomorrow afternoon.
