Personally I've never used one, but someone has to educate the peasants who think that just because they don't know what something is for it has no use. Also, a bread box is a handy unit of measurement-as in bigger than or smaller than. As I look about me I see nothing the size of a breadbox. The closest thing I can think of would be a tool box but that'[s in the garage and not handy if I need a quick comparison.

Back in the day I spent a season on a USFS timber cruising and marking crew. We’d read the prescriptions that the foresters put together for a stand, and a lot of the time it boiled down to “mark everything (for harvest) that’s bigger than a bread basket,”.

But were any of them born before sliced bread?

Toaster oven. Roughly same size as breadbox, and, also what we use as a breadbox in this house. Opened bags of Smartfood go in there too

Ate at the local pizza place this evening. Out front is a clean, fairly new Tacoma with a big aftermarket front bumper, aftermarket wheels, etc. Probably a $45-50k vehicle. Turns out it belongs to the pizza delivery guy.

A rider gets off a Harley up the street and walks over to the liquor store behind me. Pink cowboy hat, so assume it's a lady. Nope. And he has a red purse (European no doubt) and a matching red phone case.

Today's a snow day, so I started reading reviews of my local post office since I had yet another horrid experience there yesterday. Stumbled across this gem-

Let me just start by saying my experience today at the post office was life altering. I was immediately greeted with the essence of mahogany, a touch of aspen, and a kiss of maple syrup as I entered fully expected an argument with staff after reading these terrible reviews. Well, when I got a solid glimpse of the absolute smoke shows behind the counter, I took good note of my surroundings. To my right, a laughing school girl. Behind me, a jolly old man with a witty smirk. In front of me stood yet another woman I'd gladly let sit on my face. After I dropped off my shipment, a birthday present for my mentally handicapped goddaughter, digits were exchanged and it was time to leave. As I opened the door, the hairs on the back of my neck raised and I had a strange feeling that evil lurked within that building somehow and that my USPS experience was far from over. I was right.

A call came in from my best friend 4 days later, clearly distraught. All he said was, "Why, Don? ... why would you do that to sweet Bella?" Confused, I asked what he meant. I could hear crying in the background. "Bella opened your gift, bro. Is there a reason you sent her candy wrappers and a decapitated American Girl doll with a pen forced up her rectum." .....

Needless to say, that is not the state in which I sent the doll and candy with my hard earned money. I truly hope there is a hell.

I think that rolling coal is pretty offensive and it should be illegal everywhere but for some reason I laughed my ass off when I watched that.
