Making fun of Jordan Peterson also amuses me.

I didn't believe in reincarnation when I was your age either.
I'm not the brightest guy you will ever meet but people this dumb always amuse me.

As they didn’t roll the Honda Pilot, not the bottom quartile of Pilot drivers in intelligence
I’m pretty impressed that, intelligence issues notwithstanding, the guy got a Pilot to 111 mph.
Very wakey wavy day on the lake. Guy in a single high tech racing scull (shell?), bailing.
Ah, good point!
That guy needs to sell that bad-ass hot rod, it just leads to hefty tickets.
Another amusement - i saw a guy in a Circle Jerks t-shirt and said to him "Circle Jerks! Love it!" A bit later I realized at face value that's not what you should normally say to other guys. I shoulda followed up with "I always lose those things" and walked away.
I can't believe I used to like these guys.
doobitty doo wop wop say what, yeah...
An engineer that worked in my software company was here on an H1b visa. Never had a drivers license before coming to USA. After getting his license he bought a Camaro. Within a week he had two tickets for speed > 100, and then stacked the car into a tree at Mach looney
He then got a minivan. Took 10 days for him to get a ticket for >90.
Lost his license, had to take the bus to work.
On to more current amusements
We get a lot of “forest dwellers” and transients coming thru out little village, many panhandling with cardboard signs “need gas” “anything helps”, etc.
At the grocery store this AM, there was an obvious traveler at the parking lot entrance with a sign that said “Can I buy some Weed?”
Our town passed a measure to tax recreational cannabis sales, but voted down a measure to allow dispensaries.
As a home grower with more than plenty, I went home and made up quarter ounce bags of sativa (chemdog) and indica (purple panty dropper).
He had money, I wouldnt take it.

Don't get me wrong, I camped out there with some friends back in '89 between Dead shows at Cal Expo and Greek Theater. It was awesome. But we weren't living there all summer, just passing through killing time. I caught some of the Perseid showers from there. Good memories. Swimming in the lagoon and soaking in the springs. I drove up there with some friends from Eugene in December 91 to soak and try to ground myself after I found out my mom died. And the last time I was there was August 92 on my motorcycle trip. I rode Boise to Eugene that day. It was freaking hot accross the desert, but a dip in the lagoon cooled me down and a soak took care of some sore muscles.
^^^Definitely a gorgeous area, although wildfires the last few years has made a mess. The ‘rents had a home on the river near Rainbow.
Did you get to Dee Wright Observatory at McKenzie Pass?
That’s about 15 miles west of me. Great place for astronomic events although the drive back down in the dark is scary AF
