Even more amusing is the sheer VOLUME of seeds. Open up a poppy some time... fuckin' THOUSANDS of seeds. In a single plant.

Yeah, man! I planted a SINGLE oriental poppy seed in my garden last year. Just one! That thing has grown this spring to this massive mass of leaves, and I'm excited to see what, if any, flowers pop out of it this summer. Gonna plant some more around it.

But what doesn’t amuse me right now is the conifer’s archaic means of male gametophyte dispersal (I.e. pollen) and its affect on my poor sinuses belongs in that other thread.

Google searching a trail up in Norcal I came across a link for fatpacking the Lost Coast. Assuming this referred to fatbiking/bikepacking (=fatpacking) I wanted to see what could be ridden since much of the Lost Coast is now Wilderness.
