Went to the post office for the first time in over a week. My box was crammed, one with a random white package, and another with an amazon one.

I haven't ordered from amazon in forever.

Sat down with my pocket knife to take my evening dump and opened them both up to find 2 boxes of COVID tests from the feds, and one from the state.

And another recall notice on a Ford from 2011.

    That is supremely amusing.

    Review of a local shop

Took the bike there for a paint job. Went over paint samples, picked the paint and agreed to a price. Dropped the bike off and they said it would be ready in a few days… 2 weeks went by, checked in, not quite done… 3 weeks later and still no word. Then we hear the owner has been riding the bike around town!

According to the WaPo the steepest section of the Olympic Downhill course is 68 degrees.

For what, 3 feet????? The backside of a jump?
I suppose it could be a not so subtle ploy to trick all the serious DHers to over ski the course and DQ, with the locals being forwarded and just casually cruising down the course for the gold, being the only survivors.

I assume the reporter got it wrong--68% grade, not degrees (34 degrees, which is still pretty damn steep)
Yesterday I skied a run that according to Ski magazine is 45 degrees. It's a groomer.

    according to wiki
Cottagecore is a fashion aesthetic popularised by teenagers and young adults celebrating an idealised rural life.[1] It was developed throughout the 2010s[2][3] and was first named cottagecore on Tumblr in 2018.[4] The aesthetic centres on traditional rural clothing, interior design, and crafts such as foraging, baking, and pottery, and is related to similar aesthetic movements such as grandmacore, farmcore, goblincore, and faeriecore.[5]

Douchey driver in an Audi crossover speeds around me fast, whips in front to get into the turn lane ahead of me at a red light. Light turns green, douche doesn't move because he's looking at his phone. I honk. He glares in mirror, then guns it ahead.

Pull up behind him again at the next stoplight, and then notice that in the dirt on the Audi hatchback glass, someone has drawn several penises and wrote "PRICK" in big letters. Douche apparently didn't notice.
