Send the SAS to wherever this particular Al Qaeda affiliated group is based, find their camp or headquarters, slit some throats, post the pictures.

And you are a fucking moron if you think I'm talking about all Muslims. Who is knee jerking? I never said that so don't put words in my mouth (A-wreck). But for those that are advocating violence and terror against us, they need to not be here (the same goes for violent neo-nazis, white supremacists, etc etc etc and others trying to violently overthrow the government and terrorize society, ship them out too).
I haven't quite finished with you. What are you trying to achieve by posting those distressing pictures in your edit?

That is just sick. My friends were in the middle of that.

God, I'm suprisingly reasonable, considering I have visited the site of a terrorist atrocity today. What I have noticed of the people in the direct area where it happened is a quiet dignity in the face of what has happened and a determination to not let this terrible act scare us and stop us from enjoying our wonderful city (get the Union Jack flags out and start waving).

Now you really are putting me in a bad mood.

I am a Hindu yet I am disgusted by the atrocities that my brethen committed in Ayodhya 13 years ago by pulling down a mosque and erecting a temple in the name of Lord Ram leading to thousands dead in the trouble that followed. I am continually disgusted by what is perpetrated in this world in the name of God. You are making dangerous assumptions and generalisations. BTW have you actually met a muslim? I would love to know. Would you share some of your concerns with them face to face?

Another terrible day in the world. I will not start any political rants etc., but this is exactly why I was so upset yesterday. My heart goes out to you all.

I've given my condolences. I gave them pages ago. I hope anyone you know over there is OK.

I'm NOT antagonizing Mrs. Roo. I don't know where you get off accusing me of that. I'm defending myself against those accusing me of bigotry and you would do the same if you were accused.

Fair enough, as see said "putting her in a bad mood". You're only defending yourself against a stance you took that doesn't belong within 10 miles of this thread. Turn the other cheek. Don't tell me what I would or wouldn't do, you have no idea.

I'm done. I suggest you do the same.

Since you asked, yes. I'm not some country bumpkin who has never left the farm. I've been to 10 countries and moved 23 times in my life. I went to school with many Muslims in highschool and several were my friends. I've read the Koran with Muslims at one of the colleges I went to. I've gone to Muslim student life meetings at another college. I've taken college classes about terrorism taught by a Muslim professor at UMKC. My two best friend for seven years were an Indian Hindu and a South Korean Buddhist. I'm not a religious person. I am not one to simply repeat what others tell me to think. I have formed my opinions based on deep thought and experience.

Edit: As far as pictures of the aftermath, they are all over the news. Those came from British news websites. Sorry if they were too much.

I'm not trying to piss you off. I'm sorry if I have and appologize for it. Clearly there's nothing else to be gained from my posting in this thread (but I will defend myself).

summit, you might be a very nice person. I don't know you. but a person who means a lot to me changes at king's cross every morning. i haven't heard from her till now. the sane way all the people in this thread who are really concerned by this event reacted really touches me and gives me hope. especially mrs roos comments are warmhearted and do me good. i don't want your hatred and throat cutting comments in this thread. there has been enough hatred and death for today. please let it go...

As a fellow maggot, I respectufully request that inapprorpiate posts (pictures, foul language, personal attacks) be edited from this thread. Let's keep this thread a civil one on the subject. If you want to post the other stuff, then please start a new thread.

    Have a nice day.

The heroic mujahideen have carried out a blessed raid in London. Britain is now burning with fear, terror and panic in its northern, southern, eastern, and western quarters.

We have repeatedly warned the British Government and people. We have fulfilled our promise and carried out our blessed military raid in Britain after our mujahideen exerted strenuous efforts over a long period of time to ensure the success of the raid.

We continue to warn the governments of Denmark and Italy and all the Crusader governments that they will be punished in the same way if they do not withdraw their troops from Iraq and Afghanistan. He who warns is excused.

Good for you, dear boy. In light of that I find your comments all the more remarkable.

Anyway, I'm done with arguing. I'm now going to get on my bicycle (which I fortunately left here at work) and make my way home by the most direct route I am able to take.

    Wish me luck!

    Anyone heard from Edg?

here's the latest from our wire:

132 BC-SECURITY-BRITAIN-ISLAM-(URGENT) :BC-SECURITY-BRITAIN-ISLAM (URGENT) Blair condemns bombers who "act in name of Islam"
LONDON, July 7 (Reuters) - British Prime Minister Tony Blair, condemning the London bombings that killed at least 33 people on Thursday, said: "We know that these people act in the name of Islam."
In a statement from his London residence, a grim-faced Blair thanked The Muslim Council of Britain for roundly condemning the bombers who struck in the early morning rush hour.
"We know that these people act in the name of Islam but we also know that the vast and overwhelming majority of Muslims both here and abroad are decent and law abiding people who abhor this kind of terrorism every bit as much as we do," Blair said.
