"Needs more rust work than in pictures" is not the best sales pitch I've seen, but it's still a Brat
Is there such a thing as a used car warranty that isn't bullshit?
No
Brandine: Now Cletus, if I catch you with pig lipstick on your collar one more time you ain't gonna be allowed to sleep in the barn no more!
Cletus: Duly noted.
Well that's encouraging.
Did you already buy one?![]()
Lol, no. I ask because these dealers all suck, even the new car dealers. Three times now they've brought out vans with broken shit. Yesterday the Toyota dealer brings me out to the lot to see one with the dash torn apart and the day before another toy dealer brings one out for a test drive with a back seat barely held in by one loose bolt and it looked like someone coughed up a mouthful of coffee on the wheel and dash. I drove another, a private sale, with ~65k and it felt more like a couple hundred thousand.
It seems that most AWD Sienna get driven hard and put away wet, then ignored until the next time. I wonder if they're as tired in places where Uber is less of a thing.
At least back in the day when I had mine, GM's CPO warranty for Cadillac was pretty damned good. The dealers went above and beyond to keep mine pristine until the warranty ran out at 100K. In fact, on my last oil change when I brought it in, they went through it with a fine-toothed comb and made sure it was tip top. They asked if they could hang on to it for a couple days while they gave me a sweet, loaded loaner. Came back to a car with brand new badges all the way around, new HID headlight assemblies, a new infotainment unit since the old one screen had scratches on it and some worn buttons, tightened up the parking brake, and a few other odds and ends. They treated me super well throughout the warranty to be honest. Kept the car pretty mint. Hope they're still that good! (Could be dealer dependent)

Yep. In my experience of 8 or so manufacturer-CPO cars, I've never had an issue and have always been taken care of. Friends and family that have had dealer-issued or third-party issued warranties has always been a nightmare. Most recently a family member bought a brand new '21 Suburban for long haul youth sports and boat towing trips - a bulletproof truck and platform right? Well, after 80k miles the transmission shit the bed, no problem they thought, we purchased the dealer-issued extended warranty (Chevy apparently ties their extended warranties to the particular dealer that sells the car) so it should be all good.
Wrong. They made the horrific mistake of having an oil change performed at a different Chevy dealer somewhere along the way meaning in Chevy's eyes, and more importantly in the selling dealer's eyes, that the car was not maintained to the required schedule and therefore the extended warranty was not valid - no coverage for the transmission.
They ended up suing the dealer and basically split the cost of the new trans in a settlement, but what a fucking hassle. Needless to say they got back into a Toyota truck as soon as they could.

So Bobby seems to not be responding to private messages with any Carfax report. Anyone else that could run a report on a Vin or 2?
Bobby has not been around forever. I really want to buy this car but we already have 3 and I barely drive anymore. WWMD?

Never in U.S. history has the public chosen leadership this malevolent. The moral clarity of their decision is crystalline, particularly knowing how Trump will regard his slim margin as a “mandate” to do his worst. We’ve learned something about America that we didn’t know, or perhaps didn’t believe, and it’ll forever color our individual judgments of who and what we are.
It's pretty to look at.
That's what his mechanic said. "I can make a pretty penny of this guy."
2020's are going for <$35k. So cost of ownership will probably be about 30k/ year if nothing goes south.
Whatever. [emoji[emoji[emoji6[emoji640][emoji638]][emoji640][emoji640]][emoji640][emoji[emoji6[emoji640][emoji638]][emoji640][emoji6[emoji640][emoji637]]]]
Cool car! I want a fast V[emoji[emoji6[emoji640][emoji638]][emoji640][emoji640]] while you can still get one. You should buy it and enjoy it and sell it if you ever stop loving it, but not before.
focus.
Oddly, the two previous owners had it about 14 months each and sold. All the reviews I have read say that car/year is solid and the warranty goes through 4/28. Show me a nicer car for $60k with a V8 and 444hp? That car exudes pure sexiness and the noise it makes!

Internet slueths who are better than this than me:
What is wrong with this 80 series (or more likely, the dealer - located in Ft. Collins).
It caught my eye as a very clean example and a very attractive price. Listing that was reposed to FB Marketplace:

Then I did a bit of Googling the VIN and noticed that it was sold on BaT back in 2021 for more than 3x the price ($27,250)... with the same miles as listed in this new ad. Hmmmm.

Is that water I see in the gear selector indicator? Carfax is clean (assuming its not altered).

Whoowee, BMills do an image search on each car in his inventory. They're ALL scalped off BAT.
