Question: How many here would feel safer ANYWHERE in the world (not just in the US) if Sadam was still in power, N. Korea and Iran stockpiled nukes, or if Ossam bin Laden was your nieghbor?

Yes. Knowing who your enemy is and where he is at is much better than what we have now; a bunch of really pissed off people, scattered among many nations, ready to organize, with their ranks growing and our own allies support waining.
I've concluded that DJSapp was never DJSapp, and Not DJSapp is also not DJSapp, so that means he's telling the truth now and he was lying before.

Or like when one of our own bombed the Federal Building in Oklahoma City. That's my point. The enemy that hurts you is the enemy you can't see. Psychos are everywhere, and when we know where they are and what they're up to, we are better off. When we go and knock out all of the top men, and they scatter, we lose that advantage. New leaders will come up through the ranks, just like in our own government (suprise!). Now we have a bunch of terrorist cells that are waiting to regroup and we have no idea where they are or what they're up to.

I just couldn't understand the mentality and needed to benefit from an insight first hand.

I guess it's a cultural thing. Bush is pretty much universally reviled here. You'll rarely find any opinion supporting him so it's fascinating for me to hear the views of Republican voters.

I do think it is much better that we are ALL now aware of the potential harm these people can do - I would rather go out fighting for justice, peace and untiy than be alive knowing I'm a coward.
Damnit man. The Army and Marines need men. What are you waiting for?

So.... what you're saying is 9/11 was a good thing?

and fighting the wrong fight doesn't necessarily mean you're not a coward but it's a fairly reliable indicator that you're stupid or have been dishonest about your motives.

Armed forces are calling, man. Lots of media attention about how poor recruiting is, how the armed forces are desperate for more people to join. Hard to miss. You are called. Get in there.

I'm sure your local recruiter would be delighted to sign you up. I hear they're having trouble meeting their recruitment goals.
