    The only oil that should end up in or on a beard is motor oil, or maybe two stroke oil and a bit of sawdust. And never intentionally.

    the only way to hide the herp is to freshy shave and call them ingrown hairs.

    One the one hand, I think the motor oil and sawdust treatment sounds pretty terrible ... but so does dudes who walk around with their beards smelling like coconut...so I too am interested in his response.

    I don't know, I think shaving mine off is what finally got the snow flying. Now that it is started, I will start again... Ready... Go!

    I found a full beard to be more of a hindrance for winter activities. it was always crusted up with Pow.

    how do you manage your Pow Crusts?

    Grab the central one under the most with two fingers to melt it off. Resume ability to drink beer easily on the lift

    Once you have some length to it, wax is superior to oil or balm. I enjoy a light to moderate hold wax in mine most days.

    I cut my beard and I'm not sure I like it..

    I like shorter beards... except someone one I really like has a long beard right now.

    That's why you need a beard wax for storm skiing. It helps with ice build up and adds a bit of weather resistance as well.
