He does look a bit malnourished all the time.

In the biggest moments, Springer is probably the #1 guy I would want up for my team. So yeah, tough when he is on the other side.

Strange world when Price gets a standing O walking off the mound after giving up 4 runs. Low expectations.

Cheering a collective sigh of relief that he was leaving the mound.

So refreshing to see Porcello out there. Takes the ball and quickly throws it, mostly for strikes.

True. If I was a MLB scout scouting pitchers to acquire, I would only look at pitchers with a good pace. Guys like Yu Darvish and Sonny Gray make the game unwatchable for the fans and also drive the defense crazy with all their bullshit on the mound. Sonny Gray takes the cake. He'll take 30 seconds to pitch the ball and throw a 58' curve ball afterward.

Dormite, you pretty much called it. Dice Price lived up to his name, but he had a few key outs, so I think everyone said, f-it, here's an atta-boy, now get out of here. Glad to see our bats came back to life a bit, too.

I love the Bud/Sam Deck, too. Such a great scene and scenery up there:

Damn BD! Jealous of the Boston mags getting to go to these games.

I'm kinda bummed Price didn't get that last out to get the W. I figure it might get him out of his head a bit.

Nice shots BD. In there early I see.

Just happy Price hung in there for the most part. Didn’t mind the ovation. Part fan relief he didn’t lay an egg part he needs the confidence boost. Gonzalez hit a BOMB otherwise he mostly pitched himself out of his own jams. First two runs scored on a bloop off a tough pitch. Would have liked to see Price go deeper but short leash appropriate and worked out. Onward.

Well that half-inning was better, plus the hit, but still I'm happy to see Devers.
