Did you get the 16-35 f/2.8 or the new f/4 IS? I've got the 17-40L myself, but I'm thinking about upgrading before my next trip....

I went with the f/4 version. It's usually my landscape lens and paying for the extra few stops didn't make much sense for me. I couldn't think of too many situations where I'd need/want the 2.8.

Don't use FM but just posted on POTN. $350 is kind of the tgr hookup price, listed it a little higher other places.
