Pretty sure I know this tram you are talking about. Seen it on trail maps and always thought it was so oddly placed -- like they had a leftover tram they had to put somewhere and ran out of places.

I think it's actually used as a service lift for the dairy that the family runs in the summer and the Eberg lift company has some sort of arrangement with that family to run it as a ski lift in winter.

That day will go down as a top 10 pow day, just skiing untethered and free untracked pow.

I got the hint from acinpdx to right click the image in ig, choose view source, then scroll down to the "display_url" tag in the code and copy the associated path pointing to a jpeg.

I finally set aside some time to read this TR in its entirety. Good stuff, Buster. One day I'll make the pilgrimage to Cham and Verbier. This seems like a great year to have made the trip though.
