I'm looking forward to not dragging along the shit show that is my family trying to go skiing at a mega resort up I-70, traffic, shuttle buses, bathroom breaks, forgetting shit in the car and having to go back.......I'm looking forward to an easier day on the mountain, unfortunately that's Eldora.

I'm not looking forward to it. But at least I'll be skiing. Every single weekend. So I got that going for me. Which is nice.

Let's make some turns at shitty Eldora.

Ripping around with the kids anywhere can be pretty fun. Last year we had basically 3 ski runs most of the winter and I actually had a great time. Lots of deck beers.

Anyone think trying to hit Steamboat and Aspen within 4 days is enough time to check them out for a 1st timer? (if the snow gods are kind)

Steamboat is one mountain so yes, Aspen is 3, so kinda but not really.

Yeah - it's really a shame that Eldora sucks so much. It would be nice to have an alternative...

Actually, the West Ridge is fun - in the same way that skiing Pali is. There's also the Salto Glades and the woods to skiers' left. The main problem being that this is the extent of it, but for a quick hit that's 55 minutes from my house, I might actually get some work done on ski days and get more days in.

Winter Park doesn't excite me much, but to be fair, I haven't skied there since the late 90's. I'm real curious about skiing Copper for the first time in some 30 years if only to visit the scene of the crime (DD).
