Now we know why alta/bird made the early bird deals so early this year. Not sure what I'd have done if I didn't commit back in May.

I don't think they add anymore Utah. I think today was the 'utah day'. I'm a snowbasin holder. I'm not sure if I want them to join this or not...but sunvalley/snowbasin have to be on vail/altera's hit list.
There are 6 more resorts to be announced in the next three days -- who do people think is on that list?
I've got no idea on resorts themselves, but if I had to guess regions:
- 2 NE
- 1 Midwest
- 1 PNW
- 2 who the fuck knows.
Circa 0930 arrival last season barely, barely, netted me a spot on the road. Granted, it was a pow day, and possibly the first legit pow day of the year despite it being late January, but still. I think Beaver is the only place left in Utah that truly qualifies as "sleepy."
Not sure they're going anti-vail, more that they're going to places where they get access to a sizeable local market and can entice people to use it as a home and travel pass.
In that sense, Baker/Crystal has some merit for PNW. Nothing is really local to Wolf Creek but would be cool for Coloradoans and maybe some Texans who travel.
Just please god...not Loveland.
Please let it be Taos...
I never thought I would say this, buts its too much. When this whole things comes crashing down like it always does, I hate that it hurts the local mountains.
Well fuck me, boy do I feel stupid having already purchased my BCC and Mtn Collective passes. Coulda saved a shitload and gotten more access if I'd only waited.
Good to hear, thanks. I'll see if that rumor pans out.
Hoping Sierra at Tahoe is in the list of updates!
I wonder if Mt Rose gets included???
I agree it is a constitutional right for Americans to be assholes...its just too bad that so many take the opportunity...iscariot
