It's really quite entertaining. I never imagine Benny being that old, maybe because he spends so much time whining away on the internet. But he's starting to sound a lot like my Dad, who is pushing 80. They just sit around looking for things to be outraged or paranoid about.

If it makes you feel any better Benny we deal with one of the biggest CC processors at work and they have asked for a scanned DL from the person named as the primary account holder before for certain account changes and requests, even though we're a "returning customer" god dammit!!

Can anyone think of a reason to get the 4 year old and under pass? I think most places on here let 4 year olds ski free (except maybe Alta, i cant remember) Am i missing something here?

If they turn 5 by next ski season...buy now to lock on 4 yo price for skiing when 5.

Go to a resort for the first time and they subscribe you to the mailing list as soon as you scan your pass. Obnoxious "feature."

Which, you know, maybe ain't so bad. Alterra is doing proactive customer service, while Vail, in my experience last year when I had a northeast pass, doesnt do shit. I showed up at Hunter last year along with looked like 2 or 3 hundred other people in the parking lot, waited for them to open, and around 10:30 we were informed that, nope, no skiing today, "staffing issues". Some think the ski patrol was on strike. Lasted three days. Anyway, I never recieved an email or anything as an explanation or apology, and they knew I was there, we all had to reserve. Fucked up company.

Yep, what others said. Convenience and locking in under 4 price if they are about to turn or will turn 5 during the season. Also, in addition to Alta doesn’t Deer Valley also charge something for under 4? And who knows who else might start doing that soon 🤦♂️.

there are like 17 quintillion credit cards you can apply for that have zero interest for 12+ months. Plus you get rewards. Just apply for a new credit card and you can get a better deal than Affirm with no photo of your license.
