Enough with the food BS. Do you people not drink? Go for the food, stay for the alcohol. I mean they have champagne bars made of ice over there. I know, pretty hoity toity compared to the parking lot tailgate seen of PBR and hot dogs on a Coleman grill.

Then compare that to how they would react in a focus group if you added St. Anton, even though it would be 10-1 they'd ever go there. I'll bet they've studied it by now.
Maybe they would just refer to your posts from a few years ago where you told us how awesome the Epic Pass and VR were. Remember that period when you were a local in Colorado?

They were. That's then. Then the crowds came.

It did suck on Saturdays for Abasin. They fixed that.

I've got a Classico for about 11 bucks at a local place if I buy three. I buy five.

    I've never had a Classico I didn't like. It's a pretty high standard I trust.

Nothing wrong with skiing in the US--for me 2 trips to ski in the Alps vs dozens of trips to NA resorts, not including local.
I'm mainly addressing people who have never considered skiing in Europe. Mainly so they stay away from Tahoe.

I seem to recall from my ski bum server days the Italians took exporting wine pretty seriously and would only release the top shelf stuff. Probably sommelier bullshit cause it all is but they all tasted great to me.

Anyone heard any rumors of what places will be added for 21/22. They hinted at a new NW resort but have not said which one.

That’d be great but it’s more likely that it’s Badger Mountain

Any chance of a 20% off match for Ikon pass holders next year if people hold off their purchases and scare the shit out of Alterra?

I can't imagine they will. I can't see them sending money out to people who already purchased. I only see them extending the discount pricing dates until epik catches up with it and then they are comparable. But that's just my 2 cents.
I am waiting until the last day to renew. But I always do that just in case I get crippled or something in the meantime.

You’ll have the cost of that below $50/day before 21/22 even starts.

a per diem position, so I’ll have flexibility once I’m up to speed

I tried to do the same but had a problem with the SheerID verification. I received the confirmation email from SheerID but when I add the discount on my Ikon cart I have an error message saying that my status can't be verified that I need to go on SheerID (Which I did)... Did you have to do anything special?

Mammoth website says through Memorial Day. I'm hoping through he 31st. My kid's school is out just prior to that weekend and my work wraps up that week as well. The Mrs. will still be teaching so maybe another boys trip. If it is late May, we will be camping at Camp FKNA. We've been having a blast this week. He just skied his first Paranoid and has been in the Wipeouts all week. and putting in 20-25K days. Little dude is stoked. And beat.
