It’s not really irrelevant. It’s a great hill, that’s barely held on in the good times. Now, 50% of your customers and 2nd home owners can’t come.

The hill may survive or gets sold in bankruptcy court. But what about all the little vendors, restaurants and hotels, relying on the US tourists. This will hurt them for a long time.

Well, I'd say it applies more to Alpine Meadows.

Squaw has (or at least used to) more than it needs, with top stations all over the place.

Yeah, I meant Alpine in a good way. Still plenty of traversing at Squaw these days, especially since they removed Cornice II.
