You're fucking stupid. It amazes me the lengths that people will go to to find a doctor that will justify their decisions based on emotions and pseudoscience. You do realize that the claims made on those two 'scientific' sites are false and gross misinterpretations of the actual science don't you?
You do realize that the CDC said that the spray vaccine didn't work at all and shouldn't be administered yet millions of people were sold it anyway, right?
I don't trust any of those greedy assholes
I guess what I'm getting at is that the flu never created any real impact on my life, as far as I'm aware. I'm against medical intervention that targets something that I regard as a rare nuisance, as well as something I've (so far) proven capable of handling physiologically, immunolgically, and psychologically. Granted, were I infected annually, I might very well reconsider this stance. Anywho, life's a bitch, then you die.

It’s good to be responsible for oneself. If we all got vaccinations there might be no flu season and the 40 y/o marathoner might be alive.
I get a shot for myself and also to try and protect others. It’s frustrating being around folks like surfer and some religious types that don’t believe in science.
I got the shot in September. They were giving them out as I found out I needed ankle surgery.
Have not got the flu yet. And it is all around me. The vaccine is like kung fu mixed with my blood.

Do you ignore facts?
CDC recommends against yet big pharma is still pushing it. (Note, efficacy for 2017/18 is much higher than it was for 2015/16).
Of course it wasn't. Sorry.
Here's a reference to the study that the CDC cites.
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/28525597
Unfortunately there is not a free full text available so I don't know if the authors speculated on the mechanism. I would assume that the vaccine induces antibodies that are not specific enough to wipe out the virus but are specific enough to impair it's ability to reproduce itself, so the body is attacked by a smaller viral load making it easier for the immune system to successfully fight the virus.

I got the flu about seven weeks ago. Gf says it was just a cold(she had a cold, I got the flu) but that fucker almost killed me. Worst I've felt since severe food poisoning a few years ago from eating days old lasagna in a power outage(it was kept cool, but not cool enough apparently).
I could ramble on, but I won't.
Even though CDC had recommended against flumist (for the last three years?), The manufacturer still sold 15 million doses in the US last year.
Big Pharma doesn't give a fuck about you.
1.6 billion dollars. That's the value of the flu vaccine industry each year. No matter how you try to spin it nothing that big pharma does is altruistic.
Mouthbreathers like you like to point at revenue and scream evil nefarious big pharma/food/medicine that must surely be motivated only by greed and therefor 'lil ole' alternative organic chiro whatever is the right choice because they are small industries with no profit motive... right?
40 billion dollars... that is the world chiropractic industry each year
175 billion dollars... that is the organic food and beverage industry (experiencing double digit growth)
200 billion dollars... that is the alternative and complimentary healthcare industry

that's $1.61B revenue, according to the article, for between 171 to 179 million doses, which is $9.42 to $8.99/dose revenue (not profit) to the manufacturers.
Also, in the words of the CDC the only reason they recommend everyone to get the vaccine is because "'Let's simplify this and recommended this vaccine for anyone over 6 months old.'".
