End of the World in PDX: Crazy weather

Happened about a week and a half ago and I finally got around to downloading pics. Good views from my attic apartment. Adding to the eerieness was the fact that I had a good wine buzz going and we were sitting down to watch Eraserhead.

    Touche.

We just don't get those huge thunder heads here near the coast. One thing I miss about the Midwest is how unexplicably violent the storms are sometimes. I don't think I've ever heard the kind of thunder that can knock the breath out of you chest here in OR in the couple years I've lived here. Even lightning is relatively rare compared to the midwest.

PNW has timid weather compared to MW. Use to be a strom chaser in Okie for the military.

Here's one from my dad's deck in PDX.

    It's not that I'm lazy, it's that I just don't care.
