    Angry 5 - count 'em - 5 flats

soooooooooo, my ride last night on green mt. ended with a grand total of 5 flats.

i finally just said screw it and rode home the last half mile or so on the tire, which was trashed anyway.

this ties my all time record, which took place during a drunken night ride on mt. tam several years ago...

    Got me beat!
About a week ago I got 4 flats, wiped out twice on an easy part of trail I've never turfed it on, and punched a tree mega hard cause I was leaning too hard around a corner.

that sucks, my record is 3 from a tacoed rim and spur I caused from beating it strait. Did you check the inside of the tire for thorns and stuff?

friend of mine had 3 last week and didn't realize that there was a monster sharp rock stuck in between the tube and tire, that was causing it. Must hav been a fluke

I got 4 last week on one ride not including the flat my bike got while it was sitting on the side of the road while I ran the shuttle. Also included in there was a shreaded sidewall.

I always check the inside of the tire before the tube goes in it...

Cheap way to go tubeless. I did it two weeks ago and haven't flatted since.
