Dalbello Fit Me - How wide can it go?

Searched around and read the lupo Ax thread but didn't find much. I've been waiting for a while for Dalbello to get heat moldable shells (of course old ones could be punched, but I'm referring more to the type of molding Atomic and Solly boots can do). Haven't been paying attention past couple years, but recently checked some out and saw their new "Fit me" feature is on most of their boots.

I'm currently in 25.5 Solly X-pro 120s. I had them heat molded and used a Fischer Vacuum machine in the process to get a super close/custom fit everywhere. Took 2 moldings to get the pressure right, but these things fit awesome. First boots I've ever been in that don't cause me severe pain and numb/cold feet.

My foot has a normal - high instep, normal-narrow heel. However, the kicker is I have. 106mm last. Most of the Foot is pretty normal, but I have an extra chunk of flank steak [emoji51] running on the outside of my foot from pinky toe down about 3/4 of the way before it narrows up to my heel. Flipper feet. Think it has something to do with the fact I supinate (most pronate).

Anyways, I like the X-pros and they ski well. However, the flex is not very progressive, especially if I have them buckled down tight. Feel pretty upright too. Occasionally feel like I have a little heel lift if they aren't pretty tight. Shell fit is really close, toes get a little bruised if I am not strapped in tight and leaning forward (which is fine).

My last boots were 26 Dalbello Pantera's with zip fits, maybe 3 years ago? Did not like the boot at all, mainly cause I was swimming it it length wise, but the width was too small even with the lower buckle left off. Water also got into the boot.

However, I did like the progressive flex a lot, and always wished there was a cabrio boot that would fit me and still have the width I need and good heel hold. Remember trying the Dalbello boss and my heel swimming in it.

Anyways, just curious if anyone has data on how much these new boots can stretch at the forefoot when the shells are baked. Can't find much in the topic and all Dalbello says about it is they're customizable by heating the shells. I'd assume they still can't stretch enough, but curious. Was looking at the Panterra 120/130 ID and the Krypton AX 120 ID

If it's plausible to stretch them and I can find some used pair cheap somewhere I'd be interested in trying them out

i have the panterra 120 ID. Just got them. I too have a wide foot, not quite as wide as yours, but like 104mm...The panterra has that extra buckle for width...boot feels like a glove inside carpet testing. Didnt mold liner yet as it states just your feet "can" mold it and I wanna ski it a few times before doing any of that. I came from an older cochise 120 that i had to have a few punches done on. So far the panterra doesnt feel like it will need punches. Heel hold seems fantastic. Its worth going to try a pair on for sure. I wish it had tech fittings though.

    Good luck...boot buying typically sucks.

I have done no molding to either shells or liners. I imagine that shell "molding" referred to on Dalbellos site is normal fashion bootwork with a boot shop, not heat in oven type fitting ala salomon, etc.

I have a similar foot, 108 mm wide in a 27.5 though. I wore both OG Kryptons and KR2s for many years, both needing a whole lot of stretching and punching. They were never pain free, especially on the outside of the foot.

Honestly, with your foot, I'd look to another boot.
